These Check Valves are 3/8" OD Hose-Barb on both ends, to fit 3/8" ID hose or tubing. They are made from the highest quality materials. Manufactured with a Kynar® exterior, and a Viton® diaphragm. We choose this type of check valve for their excellent resistance to alkalis and acids. Since most Hydrogen Generators use baking soda or a hydroxide as an electrolyte, we find these to be the optimum choice over all others available. Kynar® material also has an excellent resistance to ozone. These are multi-purpose fittings and may possibly be used for Automotive, Boat (Marine), Hydroponic, Irrigation, Pneumatic, Agriculture, Spa, Pool, and Aquarium applications.
